Diegoisawesome is trans is the most discussed in the ROM hacking community in the few days ago. Even it has happened in 2020, but some of the public still curious about what is exactly happening and to be the reason there is a rumor comes out about his trans.
Okay, enough of that. Yep, I'm trans. My name is Sierra, my new online username is Sierraffinity, and my pronouns are she/her. Nice to re-meet you!
Figured it was high time to post on this blog. I seriously have no idea how to blog and have no idea why I keep insisting on a blog being added in each new website update I perform. Next one probably won't have a blog, but who knows...? In any case, yeah, this is big news, I know. Let's do a mini Q&A!
Q: Do you mind if I use (dude, bro, man) to refer to you?
Not at all! I would prefer if you used a feminine way to refer to me, but I also use those with my female friends and consider them to be in this weird "gendered but gender-neutral" space. So unless I say otherwise, go for it!
My thoughts on this have changed since making this post originally. I would strongly prefer you avoided any terms like those above now. Thanks!
Q: Do you mind if I still refer to you as Diego or Diegoisawesome?
A: Yes I do mind, unless you're clarifying to someone else that I used to be known as Diego/Diegoisawesome and are pointing them to my new identity. If you're referring to me in the present tense, please use my new name.
Q: What does this mean for (CrystalDust, DoMoreAwesome, the Twitch streams, the YouTube channels, etc.)?
A: Nothing! Well, things might become more delayed due to dealing with issues relating to transition but otherwise things should go on exactly as they were before. In some cases, I might even be able to work faster than before due to improvements in mental health! Yay!
Well, except for RetroRehab. Being a video series where I'm on camera, I simply don't feel comfortable doing it the old style with how I look right now. I'm not yet sure what I'll do with it but maybe switching to another video style will work. We'll see!
